JG Craig Shield Under 15 Representative Cricket trials:
Expressions of interest to attend the Werribee Cricket Club trials for our 2026/27 JG Craig Shield Representative squad have now closed. They will be next open mid 2027 for the 2028 season.

About the JG Craig Shield:

Recognised as the premier under 15 cricket competition in Victoria, the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association (VSDCA) JG Craig Shield competition runs each summer cricket season. The competition brings together the best under 15 players from around Melbourne and surrounding areas including Geelong and rural Victoria. To be eligible to play in the JG Craig competition, players must be under 15 years of age as of September 1.

JG Craig Shield at Werribee Cricket Club:
Starting in the autumn/winter period each year, invited players from the western region of Melbourne, Geelong and surrounds attend a series of selection trials designed to assess players with the goal of selecting our playing squad. These trials include indoor and outdoor net sessions and trial matches, during which players will be assessed by qualified and experienced coaches.
